Please send links or PDFs no larger than 50mb to the above email address. MFGA offers internships under the supervision of a licensed architect. Our internships are limited and therefore competitive. These are paid positions unless completed for academic credit in which case specific university guidelines will be followed, or in certain scenarios with international applicants who require particular visa types. We are unable to reply to all submissions directly but if there are any current or upcoming openings for internships you will be contacted within a two-week period of receipt of materials.
SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Our summer internship program is unique in that it is run as a combination internship / academic seminar. During the course of the summer interns are involved not only in architectural design projects at MFGA, but also theoretical readings and related discussions with Mark Foster Gage and visiting guests. As part of this, interns accompany Mark on tours, discourse-related visits to museums and galleries in the NYC area, and lectures, symposia and other cultural events. The summer program runs from May 1st through August 31st each year- with interns in the office for a minimum of three and maximum of four months within this period. These are paid internship positions, but the funds are limited and are primarily intended to help offset the expenses of living in NYC for part of the summer. To apply, applicants should follow the same instructions outlined above, and note "summer program application" in the subject line of the email.
